Radixx International, an industry-leader in providing custom tailored airline reservation, distribution and merchandising systems, announced today that it has been selected to provide its passenger service system by Serene Air, a new carrier based out of Islamabad, Pakistan, after a highly competitive selection process.
Serene Air was created to reshape the Pakistani aviation industry by offering consistent, high quality travel services throughout the country. Serene’s fleet of three Boeing 737-800s will service seven domestic locations – Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, Faisalabad, Quetta, Peshawar and Skardu – with approximately 125 weekly flights. Significant increases to fleet size and flight frequency, as well as international service, are all parts of the carrier’s growth plans.
Serene Air selected Radixx because of Radixx’ flexibility and ability to natively sell through all airline distribution channels (direct, GDS, interline and codeshare). This will enable Serene to rapidly adapt to changes in the marketplace. Radixx’ global portfolio and market reputation were also notable factors.
Sohail Gul Khan, Serene Air CEO, notes that “The most satisfying personal growth is growing along with your organization. Radixx is a trusted partner that we plan to grow and succeed long term with.”
Ron Peri, Radixx International CEO, comments that “Radixx is honored to have been selected by Serene Air. Serene is able to offer high quality, affordable and reliable air service to a multitude of cities. We are excited to partner with Serene. Their emphasis on quality customer service and broad distribution will bring many benefits to passengers in Pakistan.”
