Nok Air: Flying free as a bird with IQSMS on board

The low fare airline started operations in 2004 and is a joint venture between various public and private investors. Under the slogan „Smiling across Asia“, Nok Air currently serves the largest number of domestic destinations within Thailand, mainly from its hub at Don Mueang International Airport. At present Nok Air operates a fleet of twenty Boeing 737-800, six Q400 NextGen and two ATR 72-500 aircraft,

With Thai Airways as its biggest shareholder, Nok Air benefits from its international-standard maintenance system, guaranteeing thereby compliance with the highest safety standards. To further ensure top standards across the whole company, Nok Air follows its associate Thai Airways by implementing our innovative and comprehensive quality, compliance and risk management software IQSMS.

In addition to the standard set-up, Nok Air decided to implement another five IQSMS modules, including the Document Distribution Module, the FDM Risk-, Survey-, Air and Flight Risk Module as well as the Emergency Response Plan. Opting for IQSMS, Nok Air has taken an important step towards an efficient handling of safety issues, both in process and practice.
