Currently operating leisure flights out of London, Manchester and Birmingham as well as out of four airports in Greece and from Paris to Cyprus, Cobalt has highly ambitious plans of growth with one main focus; to use Cyprus as a hub between Europe and the Middle East and Asia in the near future.
Paxport Commercial Director Mats Torebrandt said: “We are delighted that Cobalt recognises the distribution advantages provided by our online booking API FindandBook and we are extremely happy to support Cobalt in their growth strategy.
“Being Cobalt’s sole distribution aggregator at this point, as they do not distribute themselves through a GDS, this is an excellent addition to our wide variety of travel content for our customers. We see this as an important part of Paxport’s focus on MDS which includes providing relevant content to our customers in addition to aggregating and distributing fares and a wide range of ancillary services”
Maria Saparilla, Cobalt Commercial Director added: “We consider Paxport being our prioritised distribution partner because of their existing customer base, but also their merchandising ability that enables us to reach our customers with a large service portfolio with minimum impact on our own internal resource while at the same time maximise our revenues.
“The benefits of using Paxport FindandBook are considerable, not least in using their existing customer base in UK as well as Europe.”
In preparation for the up-coming summer, Paxport is prioritising the integration to ensure Cobalt’s summer fares to Cyprus will soon be available for sale.
